Bali Belly Nightmare: Husband's Urgent Case!

Touchdown in Bali! Yesterday was amazing, exploring the island and settling into our gorgeous resort.  But today took a terrifying turn.  My husband ate some undercooked eggs at breakfast, and within hours, he was violently ill – vomiting and suffering from diarrhea.  Initially, we suspected food poisoning, a common Bali Belly concern. However, hours later, he's still vomiting even though his stomach is now empty.  It's far beyond the typical Bali belly symptoms we'd read about.  We've called for emergency medical attention, and an IV is arriving shortly.  Has anyone experienced anything similar?  What was your treatment and recovery like?
