My recent month-long trip to Bali was incredible. The natural beauty and kindness of the locals were breathtaking. But a stark reality overshadowed this paradise: Bali's severe lack of waste management.  Mountains of plastic clog waterways, beaches, and villages.  The absence of public trash bins and recycling centers is alarming.  Daily, I witnessed small fires burning plastic, releasing toxic fumes that filled the air. This isn't just an environmental issue; it's a public health crisis.  The burning of plastic is rampant, suggesting a lack of proper waste disposal options. Why is there no public education on the health and environmental dangers? Does the Balinese government even provide a waste management service?  Preserving Bali's beauty and the health of its people should be a priority.  This isn't just a local problem; it's a global issue highlighting the urgent need for sustainable tourism practices and responsible waste management in developing nations.
