Bali Bound: Conquering Travel Sickness!

Returning to the stunning island of Bali for another adventure! My first trip was smooth sailing, enjoying delicious local cuisine. However, upon returning home, I experienced a bout of traveler's diarrhea – a harsh reminder of the importance of gut health while traveling. To avoid a repeat performance, I'm proactively using Travelan, a popular preventative measure. The recommended dosage is 1-2 tablets before each meal, starting 48 hours prior to departure. With a 10-day trip, that's quite a few tablets! While I have a generally strong stomach, I'm wondering if one tablet per meal will suffice. Should I stick to the recommended two tablets or risk it with one? The current trend among seasoned travelers is preventative measures, prioritizing gut health to fully enjoy the trip. Balancing the need for effective protection with minimizing medication intake is key. What are your experiences with managing travel sickness? Share your tips and advice below! Let's make this Bali trip unforgettable for all the right reasons.
