Gladiator 2: A Colosseum of Disappointment?

Gladiator 2: A Critical Review.  I just finished watching Gladiator 2, and wow, the plot was a disaster!  Many scenes were confusing, character development felt weak, and the accents and dialogue choices were bizarre. I understand some liberties were taken with historical accuracy, but even so...  The cinematography and music could have been significantly better. Compared to the first Gladiator, I'd give it a 6/10.  My review is echoed by many others online – countless viewers are pointing out glaring plot holes and script issues. Did they even have a proper script review before release?! 😭  The internet's buzzing with similar criticisms, with many noting that we saw more of Paul Mescal's thighs than actual character growth.  Is this a sign of the times, or a missed opportunity for a truly epic sequel?  Let's discuss – what were your thoughts on Gladiator 2?
