My personal opinion, and all opinions should be respected. I just watched 'The Prestige,' and honestly, I didn't enjoy it at all. The jarring time jumps – suddenly you're in a later time period, then back to the beginning – made the narrative disorienting and frustrating. The plot twists felt forced and predictable, a desperate attempt to be shocking. This was my fifth Christopher Nolan film, and sadly, I have to say he's failed to win me over. I've also seen 'Batman Begins' (not great), 'The Dark Knight' (good, but overrated), 'Interstellar' (good), and 'Oppenheimer' (not good). While I understand many people love his work, his films just don't resonate with me. He's clearly skilled, but his stylistic choices often feel like they detract from the story. With Oppenheimer currently trending and generating significant debate about Nolan's filmmaking style, this review adds to the ongoing conversation about his successes and failures. Is he overrated? You decide. Let's discuss Nolan's filmmaking techniques and the reception of his latest film, Oppenheimer, in the comments below. #ChristopherNolan #ThePrestige #Oppenheimer #MovieReview #FilmCritique #MovieOpinions #Filmmaking #Director
