Indian Lobby Dominates Eastern Province Job Market: A Technician's Tale

Fellow office workers, I'm sharing my experience with the overwhelming presence of an Indian lobby monopolizing interview processes for mid-tier companies in the Eastern Province.  I recently interviewed for a Maintaine Technician position, and the interview, conducted in English, was filled with strangely specific and impractical questions.  For example, I was quizzed on the manufacturer of a specific metal nut-like component found in pumps – a question with countless possible answers given the global manufacturing landscape.  Similarly, I was asked about the various types of nails.  The sheer impracticality of these questions highlights a concerning trend.  This, coupled with the extremely low salaries offered, despite the demanding nature of the work, paints a concerning picture of the job market.  While some criticize expats from other countries, the experience with this Indian-dominated sector has been particularly disheartening. This isn't just about finding a job; it's about fair wages, reasonable interview processes, and a level playing field for all job seekers.
