Chibi Elephant & Jungle Jamboree: My Travel Sketchbook Adventures!

My travel sketchbook is bursting with life!  I attempted an elephant statue from memory, and somehow ended up with an adorable chibi version – a happy accident!  This sketchbook, intended for quick live painting practice, became my primary outlet for on-the-spot sketches and paintings. Unlike my usual process of working from photos at home, these drawings capture the raw energy of my experiences. One unforgettable moment involved a monkey attempting to steal a giant plastic water bottle!  Its persistent tugging resulted in a hole, and the resourceful primate simply drank from the newly created spout while the owner watched on. I wish I'd captured a photo, but my drawing will have to do for now.  The sketchbook also features a monkey enjoying some delicious corn and a serene depiction of a forest's holy spring.
