Bangkok Ghost: My Whirlwind 6 Weeks in the City of Angels

My six-week solo adventure in Bangkok is drawing to a close.  Departing tomorrow morning, I'm struck by the unusual bittersweetness of leaving.  No tearful goodbyes, no lingering obligations – just a final dentist appointment and apartment checkout. It's been a unique experience; I've lived a life almost unseen, a ghost drifting through the city, leaving behind only a faint coffee stain as my mark!  

The city's rhythm continues regardless. The familiar faces – the freelancers hunched over laptops in coffee shops, the daily commuters, the expats, baristas, and friendly fruit vendors – will remain.  I'm heading back to 'real life,' but the contrast is striking.  Bangkok feels like a perpetual vacation; a vibrant tapestry of endless parties, delicious street food, and the infectious joy of people embracing life to the fullest.
