Bangkok Condo Hunt: Snagging a Stylish Studio!

Hey everyone, quick update on my Bangkok apartment search!  I'm loving the city so far.  I found a place through a connection at a local bar (go figure!), and it's in a condo building super close to the BTS – exactly where I wanted to be! The agent, a lovely lady, showed me three units. I settled on a 39m2 studio, which is perfect for me. It has a great kitchen and amazing amenities.  The online listing shows a yearly lease at 15,000 baht with a two-month deposit.  I needed a six-month lease, so we negotiated – the final price is 18,000 baht with a one-month deposit. Wifi is included, and it's blazing fast!  

Given the current rental market in Bangkok, which is seeing increased demand for studios in prime locations near BTS stations, this price seems reasonable, especially considering the amenities and location.  Many expats are finding that shorter-term leases command a slightly higher premium.  I'm thrilled to have secured this place before the high season, which will drive prices even higher. What are your thoughts?  Is this a good deal for a 6-month lease in this area of Bangkok?  Any tips for new Bangkok residents are welcome!
