Unknown Numbers (Scammers and Spam Alert)

I just want to share some information with you, especially if you're a foreigner or a tourist.
You should be careful if an unknown number calls your cell phone, as it could be a scam.
Never answer the phone if you don't recognize the number.
Some common mobile scams include:
1. Calling using an unknown number.
2. Calling from an unknown number and then when you answer and say "hello," they don't answer. Your voice is then recorded and used for fraudulent purposes.
3. Calling you, pretending to collect debts on behalf of family, friends, or loved ones, even though they don't actually owe you any debt.
4. If you have a debt and have already paid it off, sometimes they seek to repay it, claiming there's no payment details. They'll then provide you with an account number to transfer the money.

I'll share some information and tips for foreigners living in Indonesia or visiting Indonesia for the first time and using an Indonesian SIM card.
1. Never answer calls from unknown numbers.
2. If you receive a message or call demanding a debt, ignore it and delete the number.
3. Activate silent mode to prevent unknown numbers from contacting you.
