Relocating to Thailand with a remote job opens up exciting possibilities!  I spent some time in Bangkok in 2022, but now I'm looking to make the most of my DTV visa and find the perfect location.  I've heard varying reports about the cost of companionship, with some suggesting significantly lower prices in Pattaya compared to Bangkok.  Back then, I was quoted 2,000-3,000 baht in Bangkok. Was this standard, or was I overcharged?  My priorities include finding a place with a good balance of affordability and a vibrant social scene.  I'm particularly interested in Pattaya, but I'm curious about price differences within the city itself – is Soi 6 considerably more expensive than other areas?  What's the typical range of prices across different areas of Pattaya and beyond?  Any advice on the best locations to balance cost and lifestyle would be greatly appreciated!
