Reggae bar - fake fights?

Hi everyone, I’ve being to a couple of nights at the Reggae Bar in Phi Phi. I had a lot of fun watching the drunk people fight eachother and enjoying a drink. However, about every 4th fight, it’s a fight between 2 real local Muay Thai guys that work there. It looks impressive, but I can’t lose the feeling that it feels fake / staged?  I’m no expert, but i’m curious, does anyone know if it’s a fake fight?
