From Law Firm Grind to Corporate Dream: My Legal Journey

I've been working at a law firm for a while now, a temporary role until my dream job opens up.  Each case feels like a tiny, frustrating battle. I hate it!  I'm often unsure if my clients are right or wrong, and even if they're in the wrong, I'm stuck representing them because my manager assigned the case. My ultimate goal is a large corporate firm, handling exciting commercial litigation instead of these mundane cases. Everyone tells me to stick with it and get my license, but honestly, this field is draining my soul.  The current legal tech boom is changing the landscape, and I'm actively researching how AI and automation are impacting litigation.  I'm hoping these advancements will create opportunities for more efficient and less emotionally taxing legal work in the future.  I'm also exploring online courses in commercial law to boost my qualifications and increase my chances of landing my dream role. The struggle is real, but I'm determined to achieve my ambition of working in corporate law and contributing to a more innovative and efficient legal sector.
