Career Pivot: From Agriculture to HSE - Is it Possible?

I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture with a GPA of 2.0 (and it's dropping!), a path I wasn't entirely enthusiastic about. I'm considering a significant career change. I've heard about a two-year HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) program at the Energy Institute that leads to employment in various companies. This sounds appealing given the current high demand for HSE professionals in the booming renewable energy sector, a field experiencing significant growth due to global efforts to combat climate change. My question is: Is it feasible to transition from an agricultural background to HSE? Will my current GPA hinder my chances of acceptance into such a program? And more importantly, what are the diverse career paths available within the HSE field? I'm particularly interested in learning about the various industries that employ HSE professionals, including the oil and gas industry, construction, and manufacturing, all of which are experiencing a surge in job opportunities. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
