• 20-40 km: 8.00 THB per km
• Traffic jam surcharge: 3 THB per minute (when speed drops below 6 km/h)

🚨 WHAT'S COMING IN DECEMBER:
The Transport Ministry announced plans to raise taxi fares by 10-20 baht per rush-hour period to combat the growing issue of drivers refusing passengers during peak times. This is meant to incentivize drivers to accept rides during Bangkok's notorious traffic hours.

• 5 km trip: ~61 THB
• 10 km trip: ~95 THB  
• Airport to city center: 250-500 THB (plus 50 THB airport surcharge + tolls)
