Bangkok Condo WiFi Woes After Earthquake: Help!

Living in Bangkok is amazing!  But after a recent earthquake damaged internet cables in my condo, I'm facing a frustrating WiFi outage. I moved in on April 5th and haven't had internet access since. My agent suggested contacting True and paying several thousand baht for repairs – a hefty sum!  This is particularly relevant given the increasing reliance on high-speed internet for remote work, streaming, and staying connected in a bustling city like Bangkok.  Many expats are facing similar challenges with aging infrastructure, highlighting the need for better building maintenance and communication with tenants.  Is this my responsibility? Should I really just resort to pocket WiFi indefinitely?  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any advice on navigating this situation with my agent and True, or alternative solutions, would be incredibly helpful.
