Hey y'all, I'm headed to Indonesia for the Linkin Park concert in February, and I need advice/recommendations for cafes/food spots I should visit. I'll be coming down with a friend of mine who is Muslim, and I want to make sure I do my due diligence and not accidentally bring her somewhere that isn't halal. While googling, I found places like Pagi Sore, and cafes like Scarletts place seem to be pretty popular, however i noticed that a few of the restraunts were stated as having halal options but also had alcohol on the menu. Is this a common thing for Indonesia? And if the location doesn't have the halal certification, how can I make sure that it's still halal?
