TF age of interest

Hi All
I have a question about the age limits on some of the girls posts. If a girl says looking for men between 25 and 45 has anyone basically ignored this and been able to meet even though they are say 60 ? Usually I look at this and if I am older than what they say I don’t bother to try to contact them but I have been wondering if I should just ignore that and try anyway if it’s a gorgeous girl. Anyone have experience with this? I know there are plenty of girls out there and I can find someone else but I have seen a few that are exactly what I like. Thanks in advance for your replies.
