Spectacles lens replacement

Hey guys, can you point me to reliable and affordable places to get my lens replaced? Also, I come from a country where they replace the lens within the shop, so you walk out with your new lens in 15 mins. At least with the shops I asked so far, it's not the case. Is that the norm. Are there any shops that can replace your lens right away?
