Phuket or Phi Phi Islands? Thailand Trip Dilemma!

Planning a Thailand adventure? My partner and I are currently exploring Phuket's beautiful beaches, from Bang Tao to the vibrant Patong.  However, the recent unpredictable weather has thrown a wrench in our plans. We're debating whether to brave the potential downpours for a trip to the stunning Phi Phi Islands or skip it altogether and head straight to Koh Samui and Koh Tao.  Many travellers are asking the same question this time of year!  Should we risk the weather and embrace the iconic Phi Phi views or opt for the generally calmer waters of Samui and Tao?  We're seeking advice from fellow Thailand travelers – has anyone experienced similar weather conditions recently?
