Nice place to stay?

Anyone can please suggest a nice place  to stay for 3/4 or even 5 days? 
I have never been in Pattaya but already been in Thailand multiple times. I will rent a scooter and explore, enjoy the sea and the food and of course the nightlife. So something near the main walking street would be great.
