Island hopping tours from Phuket - recommendations?

Island hopping from Phuket - best tours? ⛵ Want to visit Phi Phi, James Bond Island, maybe Krabi. So many tour companies though! Which ones are reliable and not overcrowded? Also, private boat vs group tour - worth the extra cost? Share your experiences! @Eliza: I did an island hopping tour to Phi Phi last year and it was incredible! We went with a mid-sized group tour (around 20 people) which was a good balance - not too crowded but still affordable. We visited Maya Bay early morning before the crowds arrived, snorkeled at Pileh Lagoon (the water is unbelievably clear!), and had lunch on Phi Phi Don. The whole experience was about 8 hours. My recommendations: - Book a speedboat tour instead of a big ferry - you get more time at each island - Go for early departure tours to beat the crowds - Bring reef-safe sunscreen and underwater camera - Private boats are worth it if you're 4+ people, otherwise group tours are great value For James Bond Island, I'd suggest doing it as a separate day trip since it's in Phang Nga Bay (opposite direction from Phi Phi).
