السلام عليكم!  Fellow engineers, I'm a mechanical engineer who's poured my heart and soul into my career.  Years of experience, both as a technician and engineer, and I've done everything I can to succeed.  But honestly, the job market feels unfair.  I constantly apply for jobs, only to see recent graduates hired for the same roles that require experience.  It's frustrating to see someone with less experience get the job, even though I've put in the work.  It's all about luck and timing, but it still doesn't feel right.  This is a common struggle in today's competitive job market, especially in the engineering field. Many experienced professionals find themselves competing with entry-level candidates, and it's important to remember that you're not alone. To combat this, consider focusing on niche skills in high demand, like AI-powered design or sustainable engineering practices. Network strategically, utilize LinkedIn effectively, and highlight quantifiable achievements in your resume and cover letter.  Remember, your experience is valuable.
