Bangalore Property Nightmare: My ₹50,000 Bribery Battle

Buying a property in Bangalore turned into a bribery battle costing me over ₹50,000!  My journey started with the sub-registrar office in Banshankari, where a ₹35,000 bribe was demanded to register my apartment.  Then, despite paying NoBroker ₹19,000 for khata transfer (supposedly including all fees), I faced a seven-month delay due to 'linking issues' and another ₹3,000 bribe demand from the khata officer!  Even the seemingly simple BESCOM name change, done online, ended with a ₹2,000 bribe request. This rampant corruption leaves you with bad infrastructure, poor security, and endless frustration.
