A massive dust storm has hit the Al Qassim region in central Saudi Arabia

A massive dust storm has hit the Al Qassim region in central Saudi Arabia, causing low visibility and affecting several governorates. The storm, which began Saturday afternoon, was accompanied by strong winds that led to trees being uprooted and significantly reduced visibility.
The Saudi National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) had previously warned residents of Al Qassim about active winds that could cause near-zero visibility. The storm also impacted parts of the surrounding areas, including Mecca, Riyadh, and Jazan.
